Licensed Mold Assessors and Licensed Mold Remediators know they cannot perform both jobs on the same project within 12 months by Florida statutes. Cape Coral, Bonita Springs, Ft Myers and
Lehigh Acres Mold Assessors (inspector) must have a Lee County “business tax receipt” (occupational
license). Lee County requires an occupational license (now called a business tax receipt) for Mold Assessors (inspectors).
This
is for the individual not the company as in the past.Each mold assessor (inspector) in Lee County MUST have a Lee County “business tax receipt”. Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation (DBPR) does not license companies for mold assessment or mold remediation. By Florida law they only
license individuals for mold assessor (inspection) or mold remediator (removal) . Cape Coral,
